How much is POSTAGE & PACKING ?
For UK orders, vivi-direct charges a minimum of £6.50 + £1 for every extra garment. (i.e. 2 garments = £7.50)
For deliveries within Europe, the minimum is £12.50 + £2 per extra garment (i.e. 2 garments = £14.50)
For deliveries outside Europe, the minimum is £15 + £2 per extra garment (i.e. 2 garments = £17)
HOW LONG do my linens take TO ARRIVE ??
Vivi-direct will usually dispatch your garments within two to three days of receiving your order. The maximum is seven days if some items are waiting for delivery into stock. Whilst every effort is made to update availability of individual items online, Vivi will contact you with alternative choices if something has sold out. If your order is urgent, for a last-minute holiday or occasion, please either leave a telephone message, or mark URGENT on your "reason for ordering" section, or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. For UK orders, goods are sent via First Class Royal Mail. For overseas orders, goods are usually shipped from the UK by Royal Mail Signed-For Service, to arrive as quickly and as safely as possible. Vivi-direct cannot of course be held responsible for any postal delays that might arise in individual destination countries.
As a general guide, orders to the US and Australia leave the UK by air on the same day as they are mailed, and take 8 - 10 days to arrive. This is due to the import clearance delays of destination countries.
How do I check the INDIVIDUAL SIZINGS of the garments to see if they will fit ?
Most garment sizings are to be found on the individual shopping pages.
Also, you can refer to the vivi-direct size chart
where you will find the UK Size equivalents for the US, the EU and France. Garments are usually found to be true to the size that you would normally take (Fine Linen is not made to be worn tight), with the exception of the Fitted Linen Blouse
which usually requires a size larger.

What do I do if the goods need to be EXCHANGED/RETURNED ?
No problem, as long as goods are returned within 7 days of receipt along with the Delivery Letter with the Returns Address printed at the top of this Letter. However, goods must be in the same condition as you received them, unworn and undamaged. Vivi-direct reserves the right to refuse the return of items which are not in re-saleable condition. Also, vivi-direct cannot be held responsible for goods lost in the post whilst being returned, so please keep a postal receipt or tracking number for your records.
Who pays RETURN POSTAGE ?
You will pay for the return postage, but vivi-direct will not charge extra postage for replacement garments.
What about REFUNDS ?
In the rare event that the items sent to you are just not suitable even in a replacement size, colour or style, then vivi-direct will refund within 30 DAYS of receipt back of the items, the value of the goods returned, net of postage.

How SAFE am I to buy on the internet ?
There is now more security in purchasing on the internet than by using your credit card in a High Street store, where the copy of your transaction, containing all of your credit card details, will be left on the premises. vivi-direct uses Barclays Bank Online ePDQ Merchant Services as its Payment Server. Every transaction is encrypted to ensure that your payment details are private, secure and protected.
What about INTERNATIONAL CURRENCY EXCHANGE RATES for goods ordered from abroad?
The goods are billed in UK currency GB Pounds sterling. The conversion into your local currency will be made by your card issuer at the currency rate of the day on which the conversion is made. US dollar approximate equivalents on the website are merely as a price guide. We cannot be held responsible for currency conversion rates from GB Pounds sterling.

WHEN is the MONEY TAKEN from my credit/debit cards ?
vivi-direct's Online ePDQ Payment Server will reserve the money to cover your order from your bank or credit card company. This money will be deducted from your account when vivi-direct is ready to process your order and garments are available to mail. Payment is drawn down via our Barclays Payment Server.

Are these linen garments EASY TO WASH and HOW do I wash them ?
Yes. This linen clothing can be machine-washed with a non-biological powder on a cool wash (biological may be used for white, and you could use "Dreft Dark" liquid and cold water for black & navy to retain the colour density). A small amount of fabric conditioner can be added to the wash. Hang up to dry, and your garments can be ironed easily. It is recommended that you wash matching garments of the same colour together for the first time, so that any slight shade movement will be uniform.
FAIRTRADE garments should be cool-washed separately by hand, lightly squeezed or placed in your washing machine's short spin cycle, and hung up or laid flat to dry.
JEANS should be machine-washed separately on a cool wash.
CASHMERE should be washed with care by hand in accordance with the printed "Looking after Cashmere" washing instructions which accompany the garments.
vivi-direct does do not produce a printed catalogue, to keep costs down and to keep trees up! Everything that vivi-direct sells is to be found on the website. This also allows us to alter the content more frequently and to offer more flexible choice.
